&lt;p&gt;Tip- It is important to track your weight, however not in excess. Only weigh in once a week. This will keep you motivated and will not stress you out. If you check your weight everyday, you may get discouraged and not see any difference or even an increase. Naturally, our bodies fluctuate 1-2 a day.&lt;br/&gt;

&lt;p&gt;SNACKING: I have lost 4.2 pounds in 2 weeks! All that I have done was change my eating habits. I stopped snacking all day. I didn&amp;#8217;t stopped snacking completely- I just changed what I was snacking on. Instead of bad junk foods loaded with sugar, I have been eating healthy snacks loaded with good things like protein and calcium. It also aids in digestion and is good for your colon. I also eat 15 almonds for a snack. Any more than 15 and they are high in fat. They are loaded with protein and fill you up. Did I mention they have no cholesterol? :) Fruit is also a good healthy snack. Berries are definitely the best.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So there is my snacking habits, but what about meals?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Every morning I have the same breakfast. I usually have 2 whole wheat pieces of toast with peanut butter. However, sometimes I have a banana with it and always a whole glass of water.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;WATER- Speaking of water, I drink water all day! This is probably one of the main reasons I have lost the weight. It is so easy! Every where you go just grab a bottle of water to bring with you.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;OVEREATING- We ALL do it. You enjoy the taste of food so much you just cannot contain yourself. This was and still is a HUGE problem with me. This was probably the biggest reason I gained weight. BUT the best way to gain self control is to practice eat! Like anything else, it just takes time. The more you practice it, the easier it will get.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As for food, I absolutely do not eat fast food. But, if that is something you have a problem with, just order HEALTHY food. For-go the burger and opt for a salad. But don&amp;#8217;t think just because you are ordering a salad, does that make it healthy. Salads can equal the same if not more calories than a burger. Crazy, right!? Well, first make sure you order low-fat dressing. No croutons or added extras. For lunch, just make a light turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and if you want low-fat mayo. Or have a salad. :-) Really just use common sense when eating lunch &amp;amp; dinner. Stay away from fried foods and discern what is healthy and what isn&amp;#8217;t.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;MONEY- For me, I am &lt;span&gt;super&lt;/span&gt;cheap, this is another culprit of my weight gain. If I spent a lot of money going out and ordering food; you better beieve I&amp;#8217;m going to eat it all.NO. STOP. REWIND.Think of how much money you spend on trying to lose weight.. Gym membership? Diet pills? Organic foods? The list goes on and on. Sooo think of this as spending money to lose weight. When you buy and expensive meal DO NOT feel the urge to consume it all. Think of it this way- if you don&amp;#8217;t eat all of it, you are saving money on the weight you&amp;#8217;ll gain in the future.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;Read more books than you did in 2010.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;Sleep for 7 hours.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;Take a 10-30 minutes walk daily. And while you walk, smile.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Personality:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;Don’t have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;Don’t over do. Keep your limits.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;span&gt;Don’t waste your precious energy on gossip.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
